I am Martha, a follower of the Lord Jesus. I was a God-seeker as a child, but no one shared that I could know God personally. It  only after my first year at university that I put my trust in Jesus and began a life-long journey of growing to know Him better. During my last year at Akron U, God used Acts 1:8 to invite me into a life of cross-cultural service. Later, a friend introduced me to ministry with Child Evangelism Fellowship and my answer to both was, “Yes!” The following three years I taught second grade at Akron Christian School. My summers were filled with leading 5-Day Clubs as a CEF Summer Missionary. I experienced God using His Word to bring life and hope to children! This laid the groundwork for over 35 years of training others with CEF in Central and Western Europe. In 2016 I returned to Greater Cleveland to help strengthen CEF Ministries in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. Most of our children are growing up without hope and without God in this world (Eph. 2:12) and God has ordained the Church to bring them hope, the Good News about life with God, in Jesus. I desire to come alongside churches, to train and encourage believers to bring the Gospel to the children in our schools, homes, backyards, to help them grow as followers of Jesus and then to see them established in the local church – your church.
